India, Israel to expand bilateral cooperation

India and Israel would be widening their area of interaction in the coming years by including various other sectors than the conventional ones in which they have been working in recent years.

Research and development would be the main sector in which both countries are interested.

Bilateral trade between India and Israel stood at $5.2 billion for 2010-2011 with exports at $3 billion and imports at $2.2 billion. According to available information, India's major exports to Israel include precious stones, metals, chemical products, textile and textile articles. India has been importing mineral products, base metals, machinery and transport related articles from Israel.

Indian Ambassador to Israel, Navtej Sarna, talking to Asian News International (ANI) said: " In a larger view we are in the business of making partnership with large number of countries which help us to actualize the potential of our people and enable us to grow at the rate we are growing or even faster. "

"Israel is a source of excellent technology for us and this will enable us to increase our industrial and agricultural productivity and break the technological barriers we have been facing," he added.

Israel is at cutting edge of Research and Development in advanced technologies in a wide range of fields such as telecom, software, biotechnology, medical electronics, agriculture and defense.

Experts opine that Israel now aiming to sell their expertise to the larger colonies and India interested in getting Israel expertise in various sectors.

"Though India's hi tech industries also growing very fast but there are certain many areas on which both would mutually benefited," said Sarna.

According to sources, after defense the major area is the precious stone that has occupied 40 percent of its share in trade between the two countries at the moment.

India and Israel established diplomatic relations 20 years ago.

TMLT also entered into agreements to purchase several related entities, including Managed Insurance Services (MIS), National Institute of Quality Assurance (NIQA), Insurance Software Design (ISD) and Insurance Innovations (Innovations). Most Parents Tell Kids About Test Results for Breast Cancer Genes (HealthDay)

MONDAY, Jan. 9 (HealthDay News) -- Most parents who have genetic tests for breast cancer risk share the findings with their children, a new study finds.

Researchers interviewed 253 parents who underwent genetic testing for mutations in two common breast cancer-related genes (BRCA1 and BRCA2) that can be inherited. All the participants had children younger than age 25 at the time of the genetic test.

Twenty-nine percent of the parents were found to have a BRCA gene mutation associated with an increased risk of breast cancer, said Dr. Angela Bradbury, of the Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, and colleagues.

Most of the parents in the study shared their test results (positive or negative) with at least one of their children. Of the 505 children, 334 (66 percent) were informed about the findings of their parents' tests.

Parents were more likely to share their test results with older children, but results were shared with about half of children ages 10 to 13, and some children who were even younger.

The researchers also found that parents were more likely to tell their children about negative test results -- meaning no breast cancer-related mutation was found -- particularly if the child was a girl.

Most children were not distressed when told about their parents' test results, but they were more likely to be upset when a mutation was detected and when they were younger than age 10, according to the report published online Jan. 9 in the journal Cancer.

"We know that adolescence is a time when children establish many important health behaviors they continue in adulthood. An understanding about children's reactions to these communications may assist parents in their decisions about whether, or when, to share their genetic test results," Bradbury said in a journal news release.

"This could also help parents begin conversations with their children that can encourage them to adopt healthy behaviors but not cause them distress," she added.

Blue Ivy Carter Makes Debut On New Jay-Z Track

Only two days old and young Blue Ivy Carter has already clocked in a duet with her big poppa. On Monday (January 9), Jay-Z dropped "Glory" featuring B.I.C. on his Life and Times blog.

Over a simple but soulful loop, Jay dedicates his bars to he and Beyoncé's newborn daughter. "The most amazing feeling I feel/ Words can't describe the feeling, for real/ Baby I'll paint the sky blue/ My most greatest creation was you," Hov begins over the Pharrell-produced track.

For the heartfelt dedication, Jigga employs a slow flow, rhyming almost as if in spoken word. The measured pace only helps to intensify the emotion. Hov goes on to rhyme about the "false alarms" and "false start" that he and B faced leading up to the birth of the couple's first child. As guarded as Jay has been throughout the entire pregnancy, he opens about the couple's intimate moments, painting a picture of Baby Blue dancing in B's belly and then playfully asking, "Did you wiggle your hands for her?"

The Brooklyn-bred MC goes on to look back on his own troubled past, wishing that he had prayed more, but seemingly thankful that all of the drama of his drug-dealing past is behind him so he could enjoy the moment. "A younger, smarter, faster me," he describes his new bundle of joy.

Jay-Z goes even deeper and doesn't hold back. In the song's final verse, he tells little Ms. Blue Ivy of her grandfather's demise, telling her that despite being an absentee father, "deep down" Adnis Reeves was "a good man." Jay goes on to tell his baby girl that she was conceived in Paris and even opens up about a "miscarriage."

And he doesn't hold back when he delivers a healthy brand of lyricism, spitting, "You're my child with the child from Destiny's Child/ That's a hell of a recipe."

As the song fades out, baby Blue Ivy makes her first appearance on record, crying and cooing as Pharrell brings the drums and soul sample to a close. Glorious.

Wildwood Church will begin DivorceCare for adults and its companion program DC4K for kids on Sunday Jan. 22, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. DivorceCare and DC4K are nondenominational and features biblical teaching for recovering from divorce and separation.

DivorceCare is a 13-week seminar/support group that addresses various issues related to separation and divorce. The program's DVD series features nationally recognized experts discussing topics such as "Facing My Anger," Facing My Loneliness," "Depression," "New Relationships," "Kid Care" and "Forgiveness."

DC4K for kids is a comprehensive 13-week program designed to run concurrently with the adult program for children ages 5-12 years of age.
